This is an excellent and challenging opportunity for a candidate who has significant experience in the management of food / beverage quality systems to join a global nutritional healthcare company.

 

As Senior Quality Systems Associate you will be required to administer and co-ordinate, effective use and management of R&D formulation, document and quality systems databases for the company's nutritional R&D team to:

- Be the systems management and database expert, ensuring training and appropriate use of business systems according to defined ways of working.
- Ensure users are able to create and distribute technical information to key technical, manufacturing and commercial customers globally using company prescribed IT systems
- Ensure effective information and database management to recognised quality system standards.

Business Skills and Competencies Required:
- Demonstrated relevant experience in management of food / beverage quality systems databases (eg document management, training, corrective action etc   MS Access and other databases)
- A track record of supporting one or more food quality management systems and technical databases (eg: formulation management systems) successfully
- Understanding of formal quality management principles (such as ISO,
BRC
) and processes, and the ability to apply these to document and database control
- Ability to take initiative, think and work independently, problem-solve, work in teams and multi task.

- Working knowledge of food / beverage business environments.

- Computer literate - competent user of Microsoft, document management and formula management systems.

- Knowledge of beverage technology and food quality standards (such as BRC) would be advantageous.
- A life sciences degree would be an advantage.

In addition you will have strong written and oral communication skills and will be self-reliant, flexible with good time management skills and the ability to operate in an empowered environment.
