A Researcher with a scientific / engineering background and experience in Electrochemistry, Fuel Cells or Batteries or Renewable and smart energy systems technology innovation is required to join a leading manufacturer of technologies and products for lighting, image displays, electronics and energy generation.

 

Our client is a leading global company who are currently looking to establish a Home Energy Management Programme to develop system-level technologies to complement their existing Solar Research Programme.


You will join our clients multidisciplinary Energy Technologies Team and your role will involve developing the infrastructure for the next generation of low energy housing, by combining renewable energy generation, storage, monitoring and management. You will be working closely with skilled physicists, engineers and chemists and will be open to new ideas and share our client’s passion for turning research into successful products.


The successful candidate will have experience in some or all of the following areas:

            Electrochemistry, fuel cells or batteries.

            Renewable and smart energy systems and energy storage

            Technology innovation.

 

You will also possess a strong academic qualification with a higher Scientific or Engineering degree.

A track record of quality and innovation in research, as evidenced by significant publications, patents or other achievements, is also required.

 In addition, you should be strongly motivated, possess good communication skills and show evidence of an ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
