A Research Scientist / Engineer with experience in either Electrical/Power Engineering and control systems or Renewable and smart energy systems or Technology innovation is currently required to help work on the most important power electronics challenge of the next decade, creating the low energy home.

 

Our client has a rapidly expanding photovoltaic business created by applying all the skills learnt in building the world's largest liquid crystal factory to mass production of photovoltaic panels. Currently they are looking to expand their renewable energy team to work on all aspects of low energy technology including energy management systems, energy storage systems, low energy lighting and high efficiency photovoltaic cells.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our clients multidisciplinary Energy Technologies Team and develop essential Home Energy systems using technologies that compliment their solar and lighting research. You will be expected to bring a high level of expertise and creativity to the team and will share our client’s passion for turning research into successful products.

 

You will possess relevant industry experience in some or all of the following areas:

            Electrical/Power Engineering and control systems

            Renewable and smart energy systems

            Technology innovation

 

You will also have a strong academic background preferably with a higher degree in Engineering.

 

A track record of quality and innovation in research, as evidenced by significant publications, patents or other achievements, is also desirable. In addition, candidates should be strongly motivated, possess good communication skills and show evidence of an ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
