Continued developments in the electric car industry have seen seven of the major car manufacturers take steps towards adopting a standardised charging system. Audi, BMW, Daimler, Ford, General Motors, Porsche and Volkswagen have all signed up to the scheme.
With continued R&D and investment being seen in the areas of battery & fuel cell technology the move by the major car manufacturers is key in demonstrating the wide held belief that electricity will be the answer to the declining levels of global oil resources.
