Cranleigh Scientific are Preferred Suppliers to The Carbon Trust
We are very pleased to announce that following a successful tender, The Carbon Trust has agreed Cranleigh Scientific as their preferred supplier for Technical and R&D staff.
The Carbon Trust supports the development of low carbon technologies, and helps business
and the public sector cut carbon emissions.
We are delighted to have been given this opportunity to work with an organisation that is at the forefront in creating a low-carbon economy.
Commitment to Respect Candidates
Sally Emmett, Partner, Cranleigh Recruitment Solutions, Felix Wetzel, Marketing Director, Jobsite and Ian Ruddy, Head of People Services, o2 UK were panel speakers at a Recruitment Society Event held in London on November 21st.
The debate centred around the question - Why don't more recruiters and companies listen to feedback from candidates on their hiring processes?
Recruitment agencies were told jobseeker feedback is crucial to recruit and retain the best candidates. Sally Emmett said candidates should be treated with respect - "At our peril will we start treating candidates as numbers. If you have a commitment to respect candidates, they will offer you respect and loyalty."

RecruitRank Awards 2006 - Cranleigh Recruitment Solutions are Winners !!
We are delighted to report that we have been named as Best Recruitment Agency at the inaugural RecruitRank Awards 2006
Launched by online recruiter Jobsite, the awards ceremony took place on November 9th at top London venue Il Bottaccio and was presented by ex-BBC Director General Greg Dyke. RecruitRank Awards differ from other staffing industry awards because the winners were chosen by candidates, rather than a panel of judges, ensuring a completely objective process for determining the firms to be recognised.
Cranleigh Recruitment Solutions won:
- Best Candidate Communications (small agency)
- Best Recruitment Agency (small agency)
- Best Recruitment Agency - Overall Winner
RecruitRank was launched by leading online recruiter Jobsite in November 2005 with the aim of decreasing candidate job hunting frustrations and raising standards in the industry. It allows candidates to feedback anonymously on the quality of an agency's service after they have applied for a vacancy advertised by them on Jobsite. The finalists within each category were selected through a culmination of this feedback from over 40,000 candidates in a 12 month period and several thousand recruitment agencies were eligible for inclusion in the RecruitRank awards.
As you can imagine achieving this level of recognition is a major accolade for us - all the more so because these awards are based on feedback from candidates - not a panel of judges.
